Jackdaw stops work!

Well that was a surprise – Whilst Tom was stripping the Laundry roof, he came across a Jackdaw nest with eggs in it. We have started the renovation of the Laundry by first putting on a new roof, unfortunately we didn’t know we had guests!

Luckily we were able to cover them back up quickly and the Jackdaws didn’t seem to be put off . So after a few days, Tom (with help from the kids) managed to remove the temporary cover, lay new plywood over the nest, and all is well. The Jackdaws are in and out still tending their nest.
